Soul Sister Fall Party Sunday,
October 13 5:00 p.m. Girls: Grades 2-12 and women of the church Please bring a snack to share! Prepare for fun! Time to say goodbye to Soul Sisters of the last year and get to know someone new! Soul Sisters is an intergenerational gathering of women and girls who promise to support each other in prayer for the coming year.
 
 
Grief Share Meetings:
Thursdays at Noon (change of meeting date) GriefShare is a special weekly seminar/support group for people grieving the death of someone close. Mission Opportunities
• Food Pantry:   The food pantry on the east side of the church is in need of food. Please help us keep it full!
 
Mission Box: “Sumner County CASA Project for Children” You will find the box just outside the back doors of the sanctuary.
 
• 5th Sunday      Food Bank Collection: Nonperishable items may be left in the baskets in the overflow or office. Items will be delivered after Sunday, Sept. 29.
 
• Operation Christmas Child:         School supplies are on clearance NOW! Crayons, pencil sharpeners, pencils and small notebooks are needed! Items can be left in the office! Thank you!

Beginning TODAY, Sept. 8 at 10:00 2nd Floor, Southwest classroom
Raising children in a tech-obsesses social media world is tough. What limits do you
put on it? It is safe? Why can’t kids just put their phones down?
This 5-week course will help parents navigate the social media age. Includes expert
interviews and a hands-on study/resource guide.

Blessing House Collection
UMW will be collecting clothing this summer for Blessing House. They especially need underwear and socks for both boys and girls. Ages range from preschool to high school. They also need gently used clothing. There will be a basket in the overflow.

Care and Share Team News
The Care and Share team reaches out to the church family during critical
life moments. Please contact the church office if there is a death,
hospitalization or birth. The office will contact the Care and Share team
coordinator.

Opportunity! The Care and Share team is in need of a Visitation Coordinator
and people who would be interested in calling on those who are
homebound. If you would like to help please contact Sharon LeValley or
